CVD Risk Recalibration in COPD

Recalibrate cardiovascular disease risk estimates for patients with COPD, stratified by age and sex

About This Tool

Patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) have an elevated risk of cardiovascular disease (CVD), yet standard risk calculators were developed in general populations and may underestimate or overestimate CVD risk in COPD. This tool applies validated recalibration models to adjust the predicted risk for COPD patients, stratified by age (≤65 vs >65) and sex.
